EASY ZONE CONTROL TAKE OFFS ARE HERE
Erie, Pennsylvania-------Dura-Tite Systems™, LLC and ALAN Manufacturing (Wooster, OH) have teamed up to make zone control easy and affordable. The two companies met at the ASHRAE show in New York this year and started several projects together. The first product the pair just introduced is a Zone Control Take Off featuring DuraTite’s self sealing polypropylene collars equipped with ALAN Manufacturing’s leak free gasketed damper blade and 24 VAC motor. “This product finally gives the HVAC industry an efficient, inexpensive, easy to install, zone control damper that works with any on/off – heat/cool thermostat,” according to ALAN’s president, Richard Bluestone.

The DuraTite take offs are available in 5”, 6”, 7”, 8”, 10” and 12” sizes and can be equipped with a power/open, power/close, spring close or Gladiola modulating motors.“This advanced design zone control is the perfect combination of all the features and benefits the installers are looking for” according to Jim Karnes, DuraTite’s CEO.
ALAN Manufacturing, Inc. has been serving the HVAC industry for over fifteen years, offering the highest quality products at the most competitive prices and will be the exclusive distributor for the Easy Zone Control Take off. DuraTite’s take off collar provides airtight connections, installs 50x faster than metal, eliminates personal injury, and reduces the need for extra sealants. DuraTite will once again exhibit at the 2009 ASHRAE Show in Chicago Booth #6673.
